For the Chile Miners .....
from the deep and dark
freedom beckons the lost sons
to a life reborn

Hi everyone, nice poetry, and hooray for the miners who are all saved!
I know this is not a haiku and Its not composed very well but this is the first poem i have written after a 3 year block.
the great blue curtain
I speak from a fragmented branch of worshiped lunacy
Loose leaf
time will tell its all a part of the prophecy
Splitting from my cranium it grows too big inside of me
I realized it wasnt a state of lucidity
No more leaders are born with morality
Cant separate the self from the cowardly
This concrete source a path riding.
A stepping stone under the tide is
subsiding
Not enough water the way to a desert mind
No inspiration flowing a frozen mountain side
Time stopped in the falling
to deep for the shallow
No one knows the answers, a deep granite growl
walkthrough the catacombs were just a myth now
Twisted emotion, no healing, just ego
Rewrote the scripture
saved the people
A masked civilization of what was once told
Meaning lost in the hieroglyphs
she had a tortured soul
I froze in the pale light of perception
a matrix canvas from the unknown
the spirit spoke softly of a violent outcome
comon wake up my love, come home

Illusions prancing
Mind finds it so entrancing
Moments I'm chancing

It is said that we learn something new everyday....this is ten-fold for me at the moment. Today though I found this thread and learned of Haiku. I would like to thank you all for that for it has touched me deeply. Will spend some time putting pen to paper and use this idea.
Thanks again and keep them coming please, very inspiring.

Haikus are easy
But sometimes they don't make sense
