Yes, Melahin, I agree with what you say here. Not to diverge too far off the OP, but I was shapeshifting while awake and conscious. I was able to hold the form for about four seconds before resuming my own form again. In the astral, it's very easy but in a conscious waking state, it does take a lot of energy to hold the form. I was showing a friend who didn't believe in it. Needless to say, he now believes.

Cool. I once had an experience where this reality burned away, and for a brief moment I found myself in a completely different place until my fear kicked in. Then I was drawn back to where I had come from. I think it is our fears / insecurities that take up the energy, because my experience did not take energy, but staying there after the fear had kicked in would have.

The reason why it is very easy in the astral is because there it is a natural part of you. It can become the same here. Like there are also people who cant shapeshift in the astral, and those who find it very difficult.
