I miss those heart-to-hearts with my kids (when they were young like yours).

I cherish every moment of them. My eldest two are grown and out of the house. I never see them. So, being a Mom all over again is just what my heart enjoys.

Lol. Good job. Charlie Brown and Ghostbusters.

Yeah, when the kids grow up they disappear.

One day I was down by the river in the town I grew up in. My daughter and the father to my twins was with me as well. We walked along the river just hanging out. I was pregnant with my twins and my daughter was suffering from a lot of trauma she recently endured. The father of my twins was giving me my own trauma to endure. He found this rock and brought it home with us. After I got him out of my life, my daughter painted the back of the rock. She put all her and her siblings names on it. She painted a pretty nature scene. It wore off after some years. The rock reminded me of such sorrow and such love at the same time. So I decided to paint the other side of it. I chose to paint a mama duck and her young ones. I then gave it to my Mom. She keeps it in her front yard. My daughter is a missing person right now. My mom has "adopted" the girl across the street as her grand daughter. Life is funny in how the things we do to cope with what life introduces to us.

That is one special rock with so much (of your) family history attached to it. Of course I had to say Ahhhh, when I saw the baby ducklings.

One of my sons makes me homemade things. I get at least one everyday. I have a large collection of his art work that he made for me. Over the few years he has been on the earth, I have made art for him too. He likes to hang them on his bedroom walls. Well, this is the latest one I made for him. I tried to make the heart in the wings 3D. We have been practicing on how to do that. He is pretty good so far. I love doing art with him cause the love feeling is always there.
