honza-interesting posgt-whats even more interesting is the discussions, comments coming from non-Christians-I find it interesting that more Christians have not responded but in a way it reminds me of when Jesus sent his disciples out to spread the good news.he specifically told them that if they are rejected to shake the sand from their sandals as they leave that town.
I think that people who are non-Christians will continue to come into the Christian forum and state their beliefs of new age-reincarnation-collective consciousness, etc.
what they gain from doing that is beyond my understanding and I kknow that both you and I have tried to ask directly what the motive is-but no answer was ever forth coming.
Perhaps you will get to a point of not reacting/responding, not sure but we have done our due dillengence.

Thanks white pegasus.
I guess there is always the nagging doubt that what Jesus said is actually true. It probably preys upon non Christians mind....so they try to disprove it.

Reincarnation is not a " New Age " belief, it was very much part of the teachigs in early Christianity...
If you do some research you will find many verses in the bible referring to this.
" Father, grant that my soul may merge into the light, and be no more thrust back into the illusion of earth."
A beautiful Prayer written by Synesius (AD 370-480), Bishop of Ptolemais,

Yes honza and they come into the Christian forum suggesting we do research as if it is a christians responsibility to prove why we don't agree with reincarnation. Why we believe the Bible is the true inspired Word of God
Certainly is a conundrum

The New Age beliefs that you speak about are actually Old Age Beliefs. Honza himself believes in Collective Unconsciousness, so you see you can still be a Christian and have your so called " New Age Beliefs "
If you reject Reincarnation then you reject some teachings of Jesus,

There is no conundrum, you either believe the teachings of Jesus or you don't.... simple.

You simplify Jesus' teachings to suit your own needs. The NT is far more elaborate than you give it credit for. There are passages that imply far more than "I AM God".....

Your belief in the teachings of Jesus happens to be different than any other Christian I have ever met. It is different to the Church's belief.
I find your attitude very arrogant. You seem to presume that you have the correct belief in Jesus while all the other Christians are brainwashed or misguided.
Please show some respect to other Christians here and in the world.

There are said to be ....
34,000 (Christian) denominations in the world, which one is the correct one? Have you personally met someone from each denomination to point out that you have never met anyone with my beliefs?
I don't think I have the correct belief in Jesus, I have MY own personal beliefs which at this moment are correct for ME....
I don't have the Churches beliefs as I am not a Church, I am an individual who can see individuality in oneness.
