Our personalities are usually ruled by the astrological sign and the element that that sign comes under as in the EARTH signs are Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn; the AIR signs are Libra, Gemini, Aquarius; the FIRE signs are Aries, Leo, Sagittarius and the WATER signs are Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces.
Of course our rising sign and other signs contribute their influences, too.
