Strange experience

I was not sure where to post this but I had a strange experience. It wasn't while I was meditating but it was yesterday when I was reading an article for school while lying on the couch. I suddenly became overwhelmingly tired so had to put the book down and close my eyes. Then I started to feel this blissful feeling wash over my body and sensations in different areas of my body, like tingling and warm and cold sensations. I remember feeling sensations in my feet, and also my heart chakra and my throat chakra and my crown. I have no idea how long I was lying there in that state but it felt like a very long time. A few times I wondered if I was going crazy or if this was all in my head but what I was feeling was definitely real. I had a few moments where I just kept thinking of love while breathing in and out and I recalled a lovingkindness meditation where you think of someone you love and send them love and light. For some reason I chose someone I met very briefly about a month ago who I barely even know and most likely will never see again but I decided to send him lovingkindness energy and to wish him well. I tried to focus on my breathing as a few times I felt overwhelmed. I think this whole experience may have lasted two hours but then again it could have only been a few minutes. I awoke feeling a bit drained but I wasn't sleeping so I don't know if you could say I woke up but that is how it felt. Has anyone experienced anything like this and what could it mean? The night before I went to an a talk by an energy healer and I was wondering if something about him or the other people at the talk rubbed off on me or something? I've had certain sensations and blissful and peaceful feelings during meditation before but nothing quite like this. I didn't have any visions but there were colours and varying light and dark shadows and objects and swirling.

Hi,
I felt exactly same few days ago...and two-three times in diffrent span of time in 1 months...It was such a devine feeling...Even I also had visons...All the visions was related to my Twin Flame...And it was so so clear that even if I tried to avoid it then it was not in my control...it lasts for 2 hours...and another for 15-20 minutes..
Even I am seeking that why it happened...
According to me...Its like some energies are taking place inside us by God for a reason...
Please if any one knows the reason please share...

Hi laluna14,

This is not something new. It is the sign of activation of Heart chakra and crown chakra. When you meditate with deep concentration you start realizing about the inner consciousness. when heart chakra gets activated it maintains harmony in relationships. And about Crown chakra, when it gets activated it connects you to universe (super consciousness). This creates deep spiritual vibrations and passes energy from upper chakra from lower chakra.

I would also like tell that I was not meditating that time when this happened...It just started it own...
And what about those visions which I get that time...Are they true?
