Most of my paintings are very spontaneous. At first I was going to paint a bear scratching himself against a tree, then it turned into something else. He was looking at something, so then I painted the bird.
You can read whatever you like into it. I think that's the magic of art, not what the artist intended but what the viewer gets out of it.

Hi Uma , not tuned in for a while, but I've got to say I'm loving the little chap in post #801 . I am instantly drawn to him and want to adopt him !!!!!!

I'm loving "hawk" . You have such a distinct unique style that I feel I would know your work anywhere .
I could see your art as children's book illustrations .

So glad you said that - as I want to write and illustrate children's books.
I had COVID for Christmas. Will be glad to say goodbye to 2023.
