Question What type of Yoga Would...

Be best for me...

I have been in a horse accident
3 car accidents

I can walk normally however I have nerve pain and upper body weakness.

I want to begin yoga however I need a slow start up. Anyone have recommendations of the type I should look for?

Where do you live?

Basically, you need a yoga teacher who goes slow and works with your body. Someone ideally who is firmly established in the meditational side of things.

Personally, if you are in the UK, I would recommend a teacher who is on the British Wheel of Yoga list.

I live in USA...Finding an instructor is not the issue. I was just curious on what type of Yoga I should look into. So I can find an instructor.

Really, the way the instructor teaches is important. I have seen lots of teachers just focus on the postures and rush through the asanas which is not what you want... You need someone with a good, mindful approach to things.

Regular yoga done with a firm basis on breathing (pranayama), and meditation (dhyana) would be your best choice.... Power yoga, Astanga yoga and such like would not be the best options.
