I shall repeat this number from time to time during this test.
I ask you to write it here (if you think you know it, even with a doubt). You may also answer "I don't know".
So, your answer should be one of the four numbers: "1", "2", "3", "4", or "I don't know".
I would also appreciate a little comment.
Thank you for participating.

Thank you for your answers.
The number I wrote was a "2".
There were 11 valid answers, 5 (=45 %) of which were (numerically) correct, the answers by BlueClover, Dream Angel, loveyduck, Dee47, and innocentwanderer.
loveyduck answered correctly in both this test, and in the previous (and first) one.
The two moderators who participated in this test (BlueClover and Dream Angel) both answered the correct number. They were also the first who gave the correct answer.
To try to go a little further in the analysis, I shall now give, for each answer, a "credibility rating" (CR, between -10 and 10), and also a "quality rating" (QR, between 0 and 100).

Is that correct?
If you don't mind my saying, this test leaves a lot of room for guess work.

A rather critical answer.
CR=-4, QR=65

Seems influenced by the previous, aggressive, answerer, commenting is minimum.

A positive comment.

A positive comment (which, however, doesn't sound very scientific, with its exclamation mark).
CR=5, QR=40

The allusion to a pendulum here is not welcome. However, this responder did not say his/her number was given by the pendulum only, and he/she is a moderator, a person of authority.
CR=1, QR=70

I don't think he/she could have predicted my next number.

This is an answer that I find interesting. It was posted at 2:12 pm on Saturday April 12 (Belgium time), about 38 minutes after I had "repeated" the number by writing it down and circling it again, for the first time after a night of sleep. I had written the number before at 2:34 am, before going to bed. Dee47's sentence seems to reflect what I had just done.

This answer was posted about two weeks after the previous one, by bay9514, at a time when I was thinking about this forum more than usual. The name ("innocent") is not bad, very limited comment (but this answer came much later than the others).

So, there were 8 credible answers (answers with positive credibilities), and the hit rate for these answers is 5/8 = 62.5%, which is much higher than the (approximately) 25% from chance alone. Note, however, that this "credibility analysis" is not entirely rigorous, because I assigned credibilities while knowing if the answers were (numerically) correct or not.
