LOA and changing bad habits

Anyone found the best practices for this?

I struggle with food , sleeping too much, esp in winter, having depression. If I can start the day with prayer and affirmations, i do a little better.
It is not fast enough it seems. these habits are old ingrained habits (but its not always this bad). I would like to know if there is any way to use LAO that some of you have found for quick results?
Thank you.

Firstly, estimate what is bad about being just you. Quite a few people have trouble with winter. I am an S.A.D. case so I always have a struggle with winter, tempted often not to bother to get up until it's at least light. Only when a client or deadline demand otherwise will I stir myself.

To me, January is a write-off. Whoever invented it needs telling!

It might also be an idea to try to work out what causes your depression(s) as it may be hiding a different problem. Some people seem more depressive than others and I sometimes wonder if there are physiological roots or that they simply get bored with no prospect for a brighter future (aside from crises that do throw people into depressions).

As for easting....I think we all struggle with that and if you go down the LOA or affirmations route it may still take discipline...be ready for that (especially if you don't like winter). It's easy to keep telling yourself you're skinny (or plumper, as the case may be); or that you're controlling diet better as the days go by, but it only takes a bad night's sleep or a very strong urge to succumb to temptation.

Point is, if that should happen, don't give up, don't feel guilty. Just look on it as an unfortunate moment and pick up where you left off as soon as you can. S.A.D cases (me) get used to the ups and downs and just have to keep trying!

Hi,
I didn't read past the first sentence...this is one of the secrets of the Universe.
Apply this, believe this, practice this and watch your life
change in front of your eyes...:)

I'll quote Eric Butterworth:

"I keep my thoughts centered on only
those things that I want seen manifest
in my life."

Or another way to say it:

When you focus on what is...you get
more of what is.

Never say, "I struggle..."
Never.
It reprograms the unconscious mind that ...what? "You struggle..."

Please, read some quotes in the Abraham Quotes Thread...you'll see
what I mean.
Reprogram your subconscious mind with those kind of words.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru
