If you're not careful with how fear how is influencing you, and understanding that - it can leave you feeling even more uncertain as to how to overcome it.
“There are two basic motivating forces: fear and love. When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer with passion, excitement, and acceptance. We need to learn to love ourselves first, in all our glory and our imperfections. If we cannot love ourselves, we cannot fully open to our ability to love others or our potential to create. Evolution and all hopes for a better world rest in the fearlessness and open-hearted vision of people who embrace life.”-John Lennon

Very interesting responses,
Delighted.
This brings us to the How it can help us part.
If we recognize that our true self, or 'essential essence', never truly dies, then the reasoning for fear being for survival becomes obsolete.
The core purpose for fear is closely related to mihael's instance.
To answer your question Lorelyen,
"protocol
noun
1. the official procedure or system of rules governing affairs of state or diplomatic occasions.
2. the original draft of a diplomatic document, especially of the terms of a treaty agreed to in conference and signed by the parties.
3. a formal or official record of scientific experimental observations.
4. a set of rules governing the exchange or transmission of data between devices."
The lower you go the more useful it becomes. :)
So, without 'throwing it away' (FallingLeaves), how do we choose (SaturninePluto) to perceive Fear - in the most useful way to our experience?
Here's how; by only seeing it as an indicator of where/why/how we're holding ourselves back.
Fear keeps us comfortable, not alive. Oxygen, Water & Sustenance do that.
So experiment with this, the next time you feel fear - address it head on, go where you're not supposed to, ignore that gut feeling, A LOT will be revealed about Yourself.
Post back here with results.
PS: This is assuming the obvious is being accounted for, being; an 'advanced' logic that is able to recognize potentially "life threatening" situations and calmy get to safety. (Unless you want to be unconventional lol)
So, I also assume most will be trying this with random and/or irrational fears.
All The Best!
