Hi Micheal,
I have been meditating on and off for a long time and was going through similar expernices.
Best thing as everyone mentioned; just let it be and breathe. When walking around doing your day to day stuff, try and focus on your breath and you will slowly notice your meditations getting stronger and deeper
Also, you mentioned binary audio waves. I use brain sync from time to time and its helps after a stress full day where the mind is to active... there is one called awakening kundalini, which goes through a short breathing exercise, which clears alot of the blocked channels as well.
But, in the end, go with the flow and do what feels right to you :)
Good luck in your journey....

What i did learn was
I need to learn to focus
I need to withdraw my awareness more from the body, and the not observe the thoughts as much as create them.

This is all very normal for a first time meditation experience. I felt the same way the first few times I sat to meditate actually. As you go along your journey it will become easier to let the thoughts and sensations just pass you by. Be gentle with yourself and remember you are starting a journey and it will not be perfect all the time and you will struggle when you first start but keep at it and give yourself time to enjoy it.

Micheal, others have given some good advice... I toss out my tuppence too. I noticed that you said started to get anxious and antsy... One thing that I found that can help with that is grounding yourself before you start your meditation. Meditation can get your energy to flow, if you're not well grounded, it can build up and cause that antsy feeling.

Seeking professional help or meditation group in Calgary.
Hi, my name is Sam banfield.
I've been meditating lately. I've never "grounded myself"
I hit a point in my mind, while meditating, just letting my mind go blank when suddenly I stood up from my bed and broke the meditation right there, so i thought.
I heard a "ding" or ringing sound, like those we normally get and make you look oddly around to the brains cause. But this time I was extremely "high," it was fun and all, my parents voices sound distance, like an echo and I felt two feet higher then normal.
Then that night the fear sank in, I've changed, i mean, I was afraid of slipping away, like... even as I write now, I'm "outside" myself, and my emotions are numb. I'm numb. Only, it's just me always happy and I'm used to it. I mean, tickle-warm-numb-happy, but far away from myself.
I need help guys. I need guidance. I'm doing good, but I get afraid - looking back "I miss my old self, and what I would do to not feel so numb all the time. Space headed, anything to feel less lightheaded, like a ghost or in a dream." - my words. I don't miss my old self, but reality is shifted... it's wonky man.
Like... i could keep writing but... what else can I say? I'm looking for someone who has figured this out, or... knows kinda what's going on... or... I don't know. I feel like I can't "go back" and that is scary too. I don't want to go back, and then I remember reality and I do... the fear... oh man, i feel it now. I'm trying to live in the moment and focus on living through "source" i guess and living my "own" reality. What else can I do!? just being in the now I guess. It works, mind you i fall back in the trap whenever I remember my old way. :P
Soooooo... looking for someone in the world, hopefully in Calgary, Alberta, Canada who can help me. Again, suggestions are fine and wish you the best on your journey. Feel free to respond. Haha...

Is Puja or worship is a way of showing reverence to the divine lord?

Hi there,
I was doing meditation yonks ago in my drama class at school (it was probably 35 yrs ago) and the drama teacher had us lying on a wooden floor doing 'meditation'. I relaxed so much that, just for a second, I felt I was melting (without heat) through the floor boards. I was so shocked that I sat bolt upright. I have never been able to do it since.
I want to do path finding work but I'm struggling with my visualization. My mind thinks of anything and everything other than what I'm trying to visualize and eventually I just fall asleep.
I really struggle with visualization :-(
Any suggestions?
