Do affirmations have a shelf life?

hi, has anyone one used the same affirmation for months or even years and it still is effective?

Hi,
I said one often! Everyday for so long.
And it worked so well...years later I just don't need to say it..it was planted into my belief system.
I think that is what affirmations said often just do.

Mine was:
"Money comes to me easily and often!"
"Money comes to me easily and often!"
"Money comes to me easily.... and often!"
Always said with a smile of confidence!

I'm good enough, I'm smart enough and doggone it people like me.... Rem that one!

RE: Do affirmations have a shelf life?
※→ et al,

Not all Affirmations are not written in stone. They can be altered or discarded over time.

There was a time (when I was in grade school) that as a class, we stood every morning to say: The Pledged of Allegiance.

That is an affirmation of the first order. And in my 70 years of experience, I can home from Vietnam to an America where the Supreme Court said that flag burning was a protected form of free speech.

So some affirmations are note life long. I retired from the US Armed Forces, and I still believe the the oath I took to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” is binding (not that I would have to think twice about it).

And the Non-disclosure Agreement for both collateral and SCI access are, for all intent and purposes - life time affirmations to protect that given.

Most Respectfully,
R

Yes, they can still be effective years later, it just depends on how much you reinforce them. For instance, your core beliefs were given to you during your childhood and reinforced by repetition, usually through parents and other caregivers. These beliefs will probably still be effective for you right now.

It depends if they become registered subconsciously. If that is the case, then they will become self-maintaining after around 100 days. The trick is to maintain your focus for that length of time.

Before I knew there were words like affirmation, Law of Attraction or even that Jesus said, "Believe and receive"....I said something
or decreed, commanded something to ALL the Powers That Be - angels, God, Gurus - the entire host of anyone listening.
That was many decades ago - it still is...lol - in 'working order'.
And it always will be.

Sound weird or impossible...it's not.
