From the Near Death Experiences, we know - or we have evidence indicating that:

- there is a life after death.

- that it's different from what conventional religions teach about the subject.

- that there probably isn't a heaven or hell in the traditional sense, but that the way we live our lives does matter.

- that we will probably be reunited with family members, friends, even pets, in the next life.

- that we will likely retain our earthly identities, and something resembling our earthly bodies.

It all sounds good to be!

Hi Left Behind,
I'm getting from various places that that is just at the beginning - then we ''move on''.
It's not like that ''meet and greet'' lasts forever...there are so many different Celestial Spheres - or many rooms in our Father's Mansion,
you know and we go off to our 'levels' in the Afterlife...it may be different than where your family hangs out.

One place I got that idea was reading the James E. Padgett messages. 1914 - (which I'd be happy to send the pdf of the first book to anyone as Divine Love did for me.) Also, Sylvia Browne.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

It is not a rule that we retain "something resembling our earthly bodies." I have read accounts where the ND experiencer saw himself as a ball of light.

Also, we go to 'levels' as Miss Hepburn says where the rate of vibration is such that we feel comfortable there, it is compatible with ours.

I'm happy if I can get a handle on just the NEXT step, Miss H.! The Monsignor Benson / Anthony Borgia series - and other things I've read - indicate that we progress to different spheres of existence in the next life. Apparently, there's no rigid time table. Also, a book I'm reading now - Glimpses of the Next State, by Admiral Usborne Moore - indicates that people of different spiritual levels of development can still live on the same plane in the next world (the Borgia/Benson books also stated this).

Lots of variations in the ND experiences. The "ball of light" person is a common element, but I never heard of the experiencer viewing himself as such: it's always another being that he regards as Jesus or a Guide or an Angel. But as I say, I don't doubt that some NDE'r also saw himself as a ball of light.

Hi Jim and Bluegreen,
What I get from these 'teachers' is if you are at a higher vib. level you can always go down to the others to visit - but we can't go to a higher level ---
it was compared to a fish in a certain area of water pressure and temperature knowing, "Uh-oh - pressure's too much, I'll stop here."
Like an invisible doggy fence. Ha.

BUT, what gets us higher (this I got from the Padgett transmissions :)
is LOVE - Divine Love prayed for directly from the Divine Father.

That is the 'pass key' to the 'Higher Celestial Spheres', they called them
- Divine Love that is the only thing that could,
that has the power to transform a soul. (Not anything we can do on our own!!!)
:not worthy:

Ah, after all there is out there - meditation, mantras and incense, doing good works, faith, baptism in the Holy Spirit, seeing some guru and having darshan, pilgrimages to a 'Holy' place or person, you name it - I found my most spiritual growth was made by asking my Father for His Divine Love.
Head bowed internally, humbly asking.

Always a pleasure to talk with you 2,

Jim, I can send you the pdf of the 1st Padgett
book anytime so you can see what I mean.

Always a pleasure to talk to you as well, Miss H.! And yes, please send me the PDF. My e-mail address, if you need it, is

You could also liken the heavenly arrangements by thinking of the lower realms as the bleachers, the higher realms as the reserved seating. A ticket for reserved allows you to sit in the bleachers, but not the other way around.

So Divine Love is the key, and the only key? Looks as though the Christians were right, all along.

It was the experiencer who saw himself as a ball of light/energy.
I have read that originally we were balls of light before we descended into ever denser realms.

Here is one:
[quote]This ball of light represented my essence or soul if you would prefer. Then the blue light went up and as it went up the aura surrounding my body opened up and it created this type of path that just went straight up. So as the the blue light I traveled up the path and eventually it came into this other aura, but in this aura was this giant ball of energy. This ball of energy contained the essence of every living thing that has ever and will ever exist.

Quote:
Then, like that (clapping her hands) I became like a ball of light or energy in the midst of this crowd that was circling the body. I

Ha! Well, if I think about it ---What? What would get me in the Aftelife to the Higher Realms - to be clearer - once I am there with my little cottage and friends as Borgia describes - how do I then get higher?
By wanting Divine Love - 'works' don't cut it, faith doesn't cut it - simple belief in Jesus doesn't get you to the really High Levels!
Being a good person with a clear conscience, loving God gets you in a very lovely place , from what I understand -But is that where I want to be, in a lovely place? ---No Sir.

You'll see what I mean more reading what I sent you
AND there are 4 more books to send I am still absorbing Book 1!

Love those quotes, Bluegreen.

Hey, I'd be content just in the lower realms with my friends and my cottage!
