What else could fill a beautiful Angels heart with Love and give it strength?

Rosewater, I have felt the same way my entire life even though I discarded mainstream Christianity as a young adult. There is a lot of information available with regards to the study of Christianity from an esoteric and occult perspective. As a new age seeker, that might be something you're interested in exploring. Theosophy is one suggestion. You could also explore Rosicrucian literature. As well, Rudolf Steiner wrote a number of books on the subject.

Sometimes one has to retrace one's way backward. And then one may have to rest.

Of the 3 mentioned the only one I would touch nowadays is Rudolf Steiner. He is probably the most sane, and even more important, the most practical.

There are dozens of occult Christian paths one can explore. And all have something to add to the subject. To limit the wisdom journey based on subjective feelings towards one or the other is a choice. Not necessarily a wise choice IMO, but a choice nonetheless. Steiner is the most modern of the three I mentioned, yes. But the most important? Only to those who have gravitate towards his writings.

lol this thread doesn't really have a point, just thought i'd share, i am thinking of going back, feel the need to pray lately

Your own version is not God's version. Don't worry, not one Christian has ever known the truth so it makes no difference during this age. Everyone will know the truth in paradise.

If you pray for the right things, you may find out who you are.

My wife is what I would call a 'new age Christian'. Do what feels right to you. I sometimes feel the urge to go to church as well, I think mostly for the fellowship.

Also as someone already pointed out, you don't need church to pray. In fact it is usually the last place I feel inclined to pray, for whatever reason.
