Could I have attracted a fever to myself?
Before taking a nap yesterday, I got bored while laying there and just imagined fire seeping into my head. I experienced quite a relaxing tingly feeling on my head imagining the fire slowly seeping into my head. When I woke up, I started having a drippy nose that later that night developed into a fever. I couldn't even go to work today because of this fever.

Nope. You just forgot to put the fire out and your body just needs blue, water or ice energy to cool it off. Try "pulling it out " or extinguishing it, by seeing it there in your minds eye and then reaching up, pinching and plucking it out /putting it out. Do a little healing, then wait a day and things should all be clear

I think it's possible you may have started a an energetic cleansing that expressed itself in your physical body.
Why would someone who is bored imagine fire seeping into one's head? Was it a coincidence or do you believe everything has a purpose? Just something to ponder.

fire seeping into your head... you'd be surprised what people imagine when they are bored.. everything always has a purpose, but sometimes it can harm you, and you can change or ease it with the technique I mentioned above ;P
