An incident/coincidence
I've just remembered as a child of about 10 we were living in a fairly large house, the toilet was upstairs and I kinda used to dare myself to go upstairs in the dark and hope the devil wouldn't get me lol ( I was only 10 ! ) ... one evening I was almost running down the stairs cos I'd scared myself enough and there was a big blue flash and I screamed and ran into the lounge and said what had just happened . . . we had a freezer under the stairs and the fuse had blown, perfect timing eh !

I guess you must have heard of the concept of the devil from somewhere, i.e. to use that name. Perhaps from other schoolkids or a TV programme? Anyway, it's perfectly normal to be fearful - especially at such a young age when imagination is less curtailed and knowledge less developed.

Yeah, I had an interest in the paranormal from a very young age, maybe I was just trying to spook myself and got spooked lol

It happens! Made me think of a time when I'd seen a TV horror programme. Went to bed and started to read a book.
Suddenly the page started to rise up! I was freaked out ..... then I realised it was because of my heavy breathing!    |

It could have been kids over hearing a tv program or adults talking. We all have heard about the bogy man right. or doing bloody marry 5 times in the bathroom at school. lol
