I see Self Actualization different from Enlightenment, Enlightenment is beyond Self Actualization, but that's just my opinion

I realize that threads often wander afield from whence they started, but somewhere around post# 42 this thread ceased to be related in any way, let alone meaningful way, to Judaism which is, after all, the subject of this sub-forum.
I don't want to stifle dialogue, but, at the risk of being thought to be a party pooper, perhaps it might be better to continue this conversation in a different sub-forum.

The same members do exactly the same in the Christian section. They seem to think that self realisation is Christian and Jewish and Muslim and is in fact applicable to all religions. When in fact it is only Hindu or Buddhist.

Jesus said, “Let him who seeks continue seeking until he finds. When he finds, he will become troubled. When he becomes troubled, he will be astonished, and he will rule over the All”.
Jesus said, “Recognize what is in your sight, and that which is hidden from you will become plain to you. For there is nothing hidden which will not become manifest”.
Jesus said, “Blessed is the lion which becomes man when consumed by man; and cursed is the man whom the lion consumes, and the lion becomes man”
Jesus said, “I have cast fire upon the world, and see, I am guarding it until it blazes”.

I'm willing to bet most of those Jesus quotes are gleaned of the internet and are not in the NT.

No, not from the bible, they're all from the gospel of Thomas.

This is an opinion, not a fact. Read https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gospel...of_composition for opinions from authors that favour either an early or a late date, and the multitude of reasons why they believe what they believe.

That is Gnosticism. It is not Christianity.
