Does the devil exist?

Does the devil exist in the afterlife? Will he have reign over certain evil souls or is just whomever comes within his way? Just curious

Is there a big bad spirit out there who resides over a spiritual realm of his own? Yes. This is the way of things, and the main religions seem to concur on it although their names for this spirit vary. But what this realm is like, is less certain. Quite a few preachers of various religions have found "hell" a very nice tool to scare the flock into obedience with. "You must do this or that or you shall go to a place of fire and brimstone and unpaid parking bills and..." Yet I never heard a preacher who was caught doing very bad things, ever utter the phrase "I am going to hell for this." Very funny. My take on this is that hell is a club for invited members only. The truly evil, if you like. Why would they want the place flooded over with people who had, say, eaten hamburgers on friday back when that was a sin for some, or people who had fallen asleep during a 5 hour preaching back when the churches were unheated and uninsulated midwinter? Frankly I can think of a few religious people who would probably fit right in among the truly evil. But the vast majority of normal people would neither fit into hell or be invited in the first place.

I dont get it, so there is a hell but for invited evil people. What evidence do you for this seeing as your are ironically making fun of another belief set.

Ah. Evidence is in short supply for all and any paranormal, as you should be aware. I build my personal claims to these views after a numbers of talks I have had with various spiritual experiences through the help of various mediums.

My take is there isn't just one devil, there are as many as needed, to keep all those who believe in it, in line.

They aim to please.

This is how I would answer that.

Does fear exist?
Does doubt exist?

It may within you...it doesn't within me.

Hope that helps.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Well damm if devils, demons, and hell exist than im sure ending up there. No worries though I'll just destroy it all have them rebuild it again. You know that eternity sure is a old timer.

Miss Hepburn, what do you mean by that? Can you clarify?

From what I've heard about the devil and the concept of hell is that they're just lower reams with beings on a lower vibration pattern. The people who usually go there are either people who would be considered 'evil' or who house a lot of negative energy.

Not everyone believes in a devil or Satan. I sure don't. That's a duality thing and I moved past duality long ago. I believe in Oneness, which is even beyond the idea of connectedness. The idea of hell is preposterous to me.

Whoa, you are very clear and precise..I like that!

Classic, Clarify?
Just think about it for awhile - you need to do some practice in contemplation and
learning discernment, reaching that place where your inner wisdom resides....Oops,
that was preaching and teachy...well,
sorry that is what I do!!
