Parallels: Jocks and Cheerleaders.
I'm sorry if that title is a little confusing but I didn't know how else to keep it short.
I'm talking about our social standing, or to be more precise, our mental image to the rest of the world. We all witness our classmates, co-workers and friends settle into their "place" in the world, regardless of it being their choice, and occasionally there is one who really stands out for any number of reasons.
The more common talk is about the inequality between the "haves" and the "have nots" mostly with regard to wealth and notoriety. Once we move on to new pastures, do we take the same greed, anger, control freak and other overbearing human posturing that does nothing but hinders others?
Do we take it with us? Or are we given the ability to leave it behind? Do we pick and choose?
Any thoughts?
