You mean that's not normal??  I didn't even know that was a condition. I've had that all my life since I was young, and I always thought everyone saw the world that way lol...

I just physically try to get up, or roll out. I haven't been projecting in this way in a while, mostly lucid dreaming or false awakening, but it happened to me last night, and I don't know if it's because I'm rusty or what, but I had a hard time getting out. I couldn't sit up, and I could only roll out about half way. Finally I just focused on floating up to the ceiling and that's how I got out.
