Heart chakra activation during sleep paralysis

I was sleeping after a day of spending a day with the family, when I spontaneously woke up in the middle of the night into a sleep paralysis. As soon as I woke up I got this chill feeling that traveled down my spine, which cause me to freeze and observe a white,yellowish and black German shepherd run into my room. I panicked and whilst I did, I automatically activated my heart chakra. As i activated it, I remembered from a guided meditation to wrap the energy around my body , so without thinking I did. As I did I remember my room slightly lighting up whilst the German shepherd stopped in its tracks and actually looked a bit blissful at the moment, in comparison of it looking vicious a few seconds before. Some may ask how I know it was the heart chakra activating. Well when it activated I felt a tingling sensation and vibration on my heart area, also I felt a feeling of pure love, but it did however feel like tired love; which is a bit hard to explain. In essence it was as if I tried to force the chakra from an almost empty container which is quite strange, as I'm typically a very optimistic person. After the sleep paralysis stopped I tried to astral project but my body was to tightly held down for me to move. I think I couldn't project because I was to exhausted that day. My question ultimately is has anyone had a similar experience, as in chakra activation during a sleep paralysis or during an astral projection.
