Does Nirvana means one has no body anymore forever?

Do those people never have to come back again to this world?

Could you please explain the difference between opening and cleaning a chakra?

urbandharma org
"the perpetual cycle of birth and death ended in Nirvana, I could never be reborn again.."

Interesting books about are tranlsantion original eastern texts.
Sat chakra nirupana, Paduka panchaka, The serpent power - Translantion by John Woodroffe (A. Avalon)
Shiva samhita and Gheranda samhita.
Or Chinese Taoists spiritual alchemy The secret of the golden flower, translantion by Richard Willhelm. All those books are free on net.

And something about siddhi.
yachnayoga.wordpress...................
"Anahat Chakra or heart chakra: If one contemplates (contemplation = a long term meditation) on the flame called vanlinga that resides in the heart chakra (anahat chakra), he attains knowledge beyond measure. He attains clairvoyance and can see the past, present and future. He can walk in air (khechari siddhi) and travel anywhere (Bhuchari siddhi). Through his clairvoyance he can perceive the yogins..........."

Bhuchari sidhi I think coul be something like a Teleportation.

Cleening - I don't understand well, but I think they must cleen "sushumna" = a channel through which the energie of the subtle body are to flow. And sushumna passes through chakras.

I really have no idea what the experience of Nirvana looks like. Living without a body is hard for me to comprehend.

I will look for those books on the internet. Thanks for the recommendations.

Do you also know how to "open" a chakra?

A very long meditation on a one chakra only.
When chakra is realy open, you should obtain siddhis hiden in the chakra.

So if I understand this right, the cleaning of the chakras is mostly about keeping the sushumna clean and the opening of a chakra takes place after very long meditation on that particular chakra?

Thank you Lumpino for your helpful replies.

I have one more question: besides the attainment of siddhis, are there also other reasons for cleaning and opening the chakras?

The greatest power is that of enlightenment. Why do you want charcoals with your hard work, whereas with some more patience you can get diamonds (enlightenment) itself.

It takes more strength to renounce power than to use it.

The chakras are a road map. Yes, they are there, but the study of them in and of itself, is like the study of road map, but not travelling. The goal in Hinduism is to lift awareness up and along the sushumna and have awareness remain in the area of the spinning chakra. So a person with awareness in the manipura, for example, is the kind of person who absolutely gets things done. They never procrastinate, etc. and use their will extensively. A person prone to anger is primarily in the second chakra below the muladara.

Yogis of yore could see these chakras in mystic vision. That's how we know of them. But awareness rising is permanent, not temporary stuff. The goal is not to open a chakra so much, but rather to seal them off, so we can't go lower ... permanent change in consciousness.

Just another POV, not wishing to start an argument.
