New but Old at the Same Time
I have had many past life memories starting when I was around 8 years old. I feel my present life is one of reflection and looking inward. I would not say its a life of rest, as its proving to be anything but rest -- many things to accomplish on a day-to-day basis. I am really just looking to see and read the perspectives of others, to see and learn.

Why, yes ;-) As a child, I had a fascination with bomber aircraft and escort aircraft. When I was around 13, I started to have memories of flight training and airfields.
I am surprised sometimes how different one life can be from another. Similar character, but different outlook and feel. Most of my lives, over the last 1300 years, have revolved around the military. All of these lives have been short, rarely living to the age of 30. My present life is very different.

Many of my friends, like myself, are interested in military history. Some of my closer friends have interests in the same military history, say, American Civil War, Medieval, Ancient Rome and Greece, etc. I often catch myself wondering if we all knew each other at some point, like passing ships. I suspect we also drawn people into our lives because of similar interests and past lives. Sometimes it feels like I am part of a very large social club. A few of my friends are obviously part of my soul group, or are just souls I have known from my past lives. Although I have an interest in modern military conflicts, with these I am more interested in the soldier, not the actual conflict (ie I have little interest in owning weapons, uniforms, or proving who is right/wrong etc). I tend to see warfare as a tragedy.
Its a definite brotherhood, although I am sure, you could also say its a sisterhood too since many of these souls were men at one point and female in others.
