Do streetlights hinder charging by moonlight?
This may sound like a really stupid question, so I'm sorry but I'll ask anyway. I have moonstones that I wish to charge/cleanse by moonlight. Unfortunately, for now, I live in an area where it's extremely urban and almost impossible to find a place to charge with nice moonlight WITHOUT streetlights EVERYWHERE (a place that's safe from having my crystals being handled/destroyed/stolen/whatever, I mean).
(I know cloudiness does not matter for charging by moonlight, but streetlights are my concern.)
Do streetlights block moon energy from charging crystals? Or I should ask my question this way -> Do my crystals charge well even with all the...what I'll call "light pollution"?

I put my moonstone by my window last night to charge. I'm curious to know the answer to this question as well. Great question!

Yeah, the glass of the window might deflect a bit of moonlight, but it is nonetheless a great option, Hawaiian Dreams! Sadly, for me, the apartment has windows that are facing other tall, surrounding buildings...
I really hope someone can answer this query, because if streetlights don't matter much, I won't have to worry so much about places to put my dear moonstones, but I do want to know if they do affect charging >~<… since I use them quite often.

Good question.
If it was a concern for me, I would put my moonstone in a cardboard box to minimize the street light angle and maximize the moonlight angle, if that makes sense to you.

Mine are all in specimen jars by the windows! I don't know why.
So the way I see it, it is less about the light - think about a cloudy night - and more about the energy that emerges.

Must say this has been on my mind as well, as across the street from my house is a street light and that's where the full moon is as well. I simply put my crystals in the moonlight and trust that it is okay. They do get the moonlight too after all and indoors my crystals are also exposed to artificial light in the evening/night. So in that sense the moonlight is still an extra.

Hello snowflk.
Just to clarify my thoughts on it, ... if your situation allows it.

I really wouldn't worry about the presence of street lights. The moon is powerful enough still do what it does, even in highly urbanized areas. Street lights merely create the illusion of an emptier sky.
The light from the street lights may even offer there own bit of power. Light is light. Heat. Moonlight is simply reflected sunlight. Street light is generated light, offering less energy than the moon has to offer. The moon may be further away but it's not weaker than the street light because of this. If anything, it may take a little longer to charge... But it really shouldn't, especially if the charging coincides with the waxing moon.
