Stones to help you sleep

My sister has had an ongoing problem sleeping. Which stones might I recommend that she try to help her with this issue? So far what she has tried hasn't helped. I don't remember what I've suggested, so maybe we should just start from scratch?

Amethyst is known to help, as is calcite (as it relieves anxiety I believe). The calcite worked for me

What is the problem? It would be easier to find a specific stone with a bit more information as there are many different problems involved in sleeping and specific stones that will aid in them. I'm guessing from your description it's something along the lines of a trouble getting to and staying asleep? Or does she have bad dreams or something along those lines?

I have my sister on the phone right now:

Her mind won't shut down and so she can't get to sleep.

She's also in some physical pain. She takes trazadone, because it helps her to get to sleep, but then she keeps repositioning herself while she's asleep...because of pain....and eventually the pain gets so great that it wakes her up completely. The pain is mostly in her legs (in the past) and in her arms and shoulders (recently).

She started on trazadone because she couldn't get to sleep, but then when she did, she had bad dreams.

If she doesn't take trazadone, she goes for days without sleep, until she's so exhausted that she does sleep, but then she has bad dreams.

sorry to hear of her pain ~ would it be possible to take something to deal with the pain, which in turn, might help her sleep and not need a sleeping aide ?

I told her about your lavender suggestion and she is keen to try it. She has found lavender very relaxing in the past.

Last night she thought she'd try sleeping with angelite. It was one of my suggestions, since I find it a peaceful stone.

I also suggested ametrine and larimar and maybe some others. We'll see what happens.

She has tried amethyst in the past and it doesn't work. (Doesn't work for me, either.)

She finds pink and green tourmaline very helpful, but especially the pink. These are stones she uses when awake. She has horrible shoulder pain that the pink takes care of miraculously--when nothing else will.
