Ok. I finally get what you are saying because the white stuff really does make the piece look unattractive IMO. But at the same time, there's simply no way I would EVER consider a piece with white stuff "museum quality", so no need to worry about locality. I also never found hedgehogs attractive mostly because I like holding moldavite in my hand.

Museum quality simply means the piece is something similar to what you would see in a museum. Most museums like to have different pieces from several localities to show the massive variations that can occur in Moldavite. Most museums will have a piece from Jankov or another locality that has "the white stuff" on it. So just because a piece isn't as attractive visually doesn't mean it's not museum quality. Unfortunately with Czech's not understanding exactly what "museum quality" means they just throw that label out on larger pieces of Moldavite regardless of their characteristics. Hedgehogs IMO are some of the most attractive Moldavites there are, they are the pinnacle of what features people look for in Moldavite - sharp and deeply etched. If someone has a big enough one they can hold it in their hand just as they could with a regular piece.

Moldavite seems to be the word of the day here. I just replied on another thread about it. I hadn't heard much of it, but a friend recommended Besednice moldavite to me through InnerVision Crystals since I had lousy luck with a disappointing piece of phenacite I found on EBay. I was more excited about the phenacite but I was blown away by the vibration of the moldavite I ordered. Just a small piece, but it's very intense. I really like it.

Heat3peat Welcome to the awesome world of Moldavite
As you can see AstralExplorer is full of information, sometimes it feels like he's the one digging up the Moldavite from the Czech Republic.

Nobody is going to attempt to or even consider buying a 71 gram Moldavite from a new member on some forums. If someone was going to spend their money on a 71 gram piece of Moldavite they are going to go to great lengths to buy it from a long standing highly-reputable dealer such as the ones I have suggested. Obviously I don't know you or anything about you but the fact that you're trying to sell an apparent 71 gram Moldavite on forums leads me to believe that you're just a scammer.

Hi, Astral Explorer, Actually I really owned the piece of 71 grams Moldavite.
I can't prove that I owned it by just saying that but I could prove that if you need some photos of it.
By the way, I have just seen that this forum is not allowed to sell anything here......So .......I am not advertise anything.

I am also a Moldavite Collector (Privately), currently own 12+ Moldavites

Actually, I bought 4 pieces of Moldavites from Oldminerals.

Lastly, you are absolutely right, don't easily believe any seller that sell moldavite in the internet besides they are reputable.
