Silver Made Dreams
Truth and vain as dying light dissolves before my eyes
the eternal darkness of night can longer conceals those lies
many words of scorn and disdain
an incurable disease courses through my veins
relentless as the downpour of rain
unto the depths of my heart where betrayal reigns
vanquished flames of passion slowly pales
with shame they wither to the gleaming glint of gold
a ship of silver stolen dreams take sails
with shortness of words toward a mirage of an empty world
treason trickles down from my heart into the worn pages of my art
like crystal shards of rain on burnt down fields, infertile and vain
the poisonous Judas Kiss have left trace of death upon my lips
a deceitful promise of wealth has conquered the thoughts with stealth
and like the eerie shadow of fruitless distant tree
the more it was sought the further and further it flee
a sealed letter that i hid in plain sight gold and silver never equaled delight
it was long ago when i written and marked with red line not all grapes can make wine
each word was like a flower i picked along my road from every dark corner of this world
from the distant cloud above the high mountains
from the water that runs upstream of the fountains
from the sun's reflection on the treacherous oceans
and its furious waves of tide as furious as these emotions
from the raging lightning in the night sky as shooting stars pass me by
from shimmering rainbow after the storm and love that inside my heart was born
of all the life we have seen of all the souls we could have been
still, here we are here with the golden glimmer spacing us from between
