Newly found Intuitive/Psychic abilities + questions

Thank you for your reply! I haven't had a chance to look into Extraordinary Psychic yet, but have had the pleasure of reading You Are Psychic. I'm not sure if becoming a professional is the direction I want to go in, but will look into the book to see if there might be more information there.

Yes! Very thankful for all who have shared their insights. As mentioned in this or another post, it's been difficult for me to ask such questions as I don't know of anyone around my circle of loved ones who can relate that I can speak to about these things.

It sounds like we are on a similar path! I know what you mean about feeling purposeful and that "one is meant to do it". It's hard to explain to others, but it's just an intuitive feeling. I definitely understand!

What a beautiful way to put it! I agree with you about the learning curve and it being an art, just like anything else. I'm currently reading/studying about aura/energy as it seems to be aligning most with how I am perceiving the world compared to other metaphysical/spiritual studies I've dived into.

What do you feel you align with the most? Would love to hear!

The two books are pretty similar, but the second book sort of fills out the first one with a lot of specific examples. It's worth reading for sure. Definitely useful stuff even if you are not going to be a pro. Most of the same issues come up even if money is not involved.
I don't do readings professionally myself. I just like to give references for useful books.. it's part of my day job as a bookstore owner. My main ability is channeling/clairaudience and I'm working to develop it to a level where it will be consistently useful to others.
