Accent From a Past Life?

I was born and raised in New York State, but I am asked on a fairly regular basis by different people if I am from Virginia. Apparently I have a very thick Virginian accent even though the only time I have ever been to Virginia was a very brief visit to Virginia Beach a few years ago. I am wondering if it is possible to carry through an accent from a past life? I always felt that I had a past life during the American Revolution, so perhaps this lifetime took place in Virginia.

I have wondered the same thing! But do not have a definitive answer. I too do not sound like the people where I grew up (north central). And often people have thought I must be from the south somewhere. I have a lot of past life regression experience and have read a lot, yet I have not seen anything about this. But I do think that my accent has followed me from another lifetime and maybe more than one lifetime. I find myself slipping deeper into the accent depending on the situation and who I am talking to. When my heart is very open, my accent is very pronounced.
