I think it's something you just know and can feel it. They feel very familiar to you even though you've never meet them before.

Two sides of the same coin. You will be opposite but the same as well. But it doesn't really matter. You still choose whether or not you want to be with that person.

I know already but I was kinda wondering how other ppl knew, as I've learned the feeling is different for many. I thought it was simply the same for all. |

I was married for 25 years to a woman 9 years my senior. Now we are divorced and live 200 miles apart. I would say that we are still soul mates.
The woman who I live with now, is my same age. We share much in common, but I would say that she is not my soul mate... at least not yet.
I have yet to find a man whom I would consider a soul mate, but I'd be willing to try. :))
I guess much would depend on ones worldview and orientations.
Just my opinion. ljm
