And this is the really really really creepy thing about what's going on today... when something "alternative" is "working" the powers-that-be do their best to try and smother it... and yet the official modern "medicine" modalities are absolute and miserable failures.
I'm currently back and forth between two books. One is entitled "Why do I Still have Thyroid Symptoms?" and the other is called "Why Stomach Acid is Good for You".
Both are written by doctors, both have clinical practices, both are screaming loudly that what the current medical system is doing just simply "does not work!!" In fact, what the current medical system is doing is essentially the "opposite" of what needs to be done!
I've been running into this observation over and over again since I first started reading stuff about health three years ago... over and over and over again there are "doctors" who are leaving the fold because they're disgusted with how poorly the medical systems, that they've been taught to use, performs.

The problem with stomach acid is not "too much" but "too little" (your stomach acid production actually falls by about half by the time you're in your 40s) This being the case then taking antacids is
very Contraindicated!

ONE of the problems with the thyroid is often caused by an autoimmune response
(Hashimoto's thyroiditis) which is often caused by a leaky gut and, through that, gluten exposure.. there's about 6 other ways that the thyroid system can run-off the rails, with none of these being addressed...!
The gut bacteria balance is huge, and yet they give us antibiotics which only pushes the bacteria balance most-clearly in the wrong direction..
A great deal of what ails us is spurred-on by oxygen depletion, overly processed foods, persistent chemical exposures, and a whole lot of stuff that spikes our blood sugars... and yet the system ignores all that in favor of a pill that only suppresses a few symptoms, while very-often creating others..
Over and over and over again the medical industry is getting it wrong, and yet we look to them as the "experts", actually taking their advice without changing a single thing that's actually "causing" the problem!
And the ones who are leading the charge out of this mess are the individual innovators, the ones who are studying this "outside the box", and the growing number of
practicing doctors who are totally fed-up with the system they were taught!
Modern medicine is a boondoggle! And so to be taking it's advice is like giving the keys to your new car over to a kindergarten child... and since most kindergarten children can't reach the peddles to drive it, they get an expert (another kindergarten child) to get on the floor to press the gas...
Is it any wonder that, while using this system, that we so often find our cars ending-up in a ditch...
