I think I have Eckhart Tolles book u mentioned. I couldn't get thru it all. The content is SO dense, I found it too difficult to understand and there is too much info in it, if that's possible.
I'm reading Decoding the Spiritual Messages of Everyday Life by Paul De Bell. It's very interesting and he talks about being alert to the messages around us.

When I first started getting into this type of stuff, I was encouraged to read TPON (The Power of Now) and found it difficult to wade through, BUT I then picked up his other popular book, A New Earth and I could relate a lot better to that one, so you might want to give it a try.

I am not a fan of Tolle. Talking about the now is much better presented in Thich Nhat Hanh's books or various other Buddhist teachers like Ayya Khema or Pema Chodron in my view.

Yeah, Tolle is just regurgitating ancient wisdom and presenting it as his own. These things are better said by those who are Enlightened. There are many like him today who are misrepresenting True Masters. Krishnamurti was another pretending to be Enlightened, but just basically confusing ppl..

I've moved on to the deeply spiritual "Post Office" by Charles Bukowski.

I'm reading 101 Gluten-Free Foods. It's great because each gluten-free food has a recipe to accompany it. Great ideas.
