"Not a spirit attachment, its a forcefield"

I had a weird dream the other night. It's a bit vague in parts now but I remember being in some sort of care home and i was being abused. There was a horrible feeling of helplessness and suffering, also of powerlessness because I couldn't do anything to stop it. I saw a drawer full of blue and pink tops. I chose a blue one only but it didn't go with what I wore. Then I recall speaking to someone and asking if it was a spirit attachment. He replied 'no, it's a forcefield.'

I know I haven't given much to go on but I'm still curious about the dream and this statement in particular. Has anyone got any insight into what this might mean in context with my dream?

This dream probably has some thing to do with what is going on in real life. You feel the need for protection.
