I know that perhaps these events took place, but Gotama travelled and he died far from his birth place...
These very peculiar beliefs are a cruel form of brainwashing... and Gotama did not teach such things, nor did he practice them.
Here we are being distracted into very unimportant things, like stories of the past, where the OP only wants insight into practicing particular techniques.
