May I give some quotes for examples, full of wisdom and guidance?

You must not under any pretense allow your mind to dwell on any thought that is not positive, constructive, optimistic, kind.
~Emmet Fox

The forgiving state of mind is a magnetic power for attracting good. When you hold resentment toward another
you are bound to that person or condition by an emotional link that is stronger than steel.

''It is the law of Spirit that we must be that which we would draw to us.''

We have within us, a power that is greater than anything we shall ever contact in the outer, a power
that can overcome every obstacle in our life and set us safe, satisfied and at peace, healed and prosperous, in a new light, and in a new life.

Many have never heard of the New Thought Movement --Here:

What are the beliefs of the New Thought movement?
''New Thought holds that Infinite Intelligence, or God, is everywhere, spirit is the totality of real things,
true human selfhood is divine, divine thought is a force for good, sickness originates in the mind,
and "right thinking" has a healing effect.

Madhuri…..

“ The only way I could walk away is if I really believed God would take care of everyone I left behind. That level of faith would be a worthy goal.”

Perhaps God will.

Buddha walked away from his family and they seemed get on with life ok. Maybe your family will do just fine without you. Who knows.

I short break of a few weeks might make a huge difference to all of you.

As the old saying goes, “Absence makes the heart grow stronger”

Just a thought.

The only thing you are doing wrong is trying too hard.

Listen, you are an extension of God (source, creator, etc) If you are asking for something, you are in a frequency of lack. Stop asking.

Identify requirements. (check)
Notify higher self. (check) They already know!
Anticipate, Expect, and know. What is wanted is first created at the energy level and THEN manifests in the physical. It is done. It is done. It is DONE!

You already have everything you want unless you resist by not receiving.

You are probably right. I feel like I need to do something because I have been trying to “do something” in the world for such a long time, I’m having a hard time learning not to worry. This is the first time I’ve been in an important situation where I needed to let go and see if God will catch me. I feel afraid a lot of the time and that isn’t faith.

You don’t necessarily have to ‘be free’ of it. You just have to focus on that which you DO desire. Every thought you think creates anew. So once you have focused 51% of your thoughts on what you do want, the scales tip. You start attracting what you do desire, and the undesired thing begins to fade from your reality. The more you focus, the clearer and more significant it becomes.

I think it's fine. Over a lifetime we have things we want and things we don't want, and that's just the way it goes. The trick is be level headed by knowing when things get rough, this will pass, and when everything is just grand, it doesn't last long. Neither summers nor winters last forever, but they come and go. From the level headed perspective you can decide and act in the right way, and that's gotta be for the best.

For now you are of the mind that the rough thing should go away and what you want should take it's place, so that dynamic of being adverse toward the former and craving the latter creates additional anxiety. Hence people will say just focus on the desire side of it and the aversion side will disappear, and as long as things are as you want, you'll be happy.

That works in the near term, so it's pretty standard, but when happiness is dependent on external circumstance and our ability to make them as we want them to be, the next time everything goes wrong you're back to square one.

What if, instead of having to do something about it to make it other than it is, you just accept it is the way it is as true, and rather than trying to rectify it from the reactionary adverse perspective, calmly and factually examine the situation more closely to understand it better. From there you get a clear idea about where you're at and act accordingly.

I think all the woolly stuff is hopeful, elating and offers relief, but it's childish, impractical and unrealistic, so I figure, get real, think it through, take it seriously, be honest, speak frankly, and what ever happens will happen in accordance with the truth. It's hard, there is uncertainty, and there is no guarantee doing what's right turns out desirable or you'll like it, but that is precisely what makes it most ethical.
