Valueing negativity

Any thoughts?

What i mean is, noticing negativity is giving negativity value, right? A complete waste of time... i should say giving it attention. Noticing is somethin else.

well, i have a tendancy to only see the dark side in people. Like when people meet and become friends on a not so deep level or whatever they soon start to annoy eachother on things they didnt saw first.
It seems more the other way around with me. So i start to judge unconsciously: "ur a this ur a that. F off. U pretend to be this u pretend to be that. and so on."
But people have to play a roll in this play to survive. In that perspecive nobody really is fake. If ur fake then ur that. So thats still somethin. There is basicly no way to be fake.

Look, I suppose it's a sign of the poor spiritual thinking that emerged over the past decade, the amount of drossy, misguided books being pushed in the spiritual market place.

There is NOTHING wrong with NEGATIVE - it's simply the opposite and balancing force to POSITIVE. It is dark against light, the Moon reflecting the Sun. It is the Shiva that rests in the Crown chakra waiting for Shakti. It is the left hand Pillar that balances with the right on the Tree of Life. It is feminine beside the masculine.

Most Chakra workers here (so far as I can read) rely on Sushumna for unblocking, lighting up, polishing their chakras which mean they have given little thought to the (thousands of) Nadis with their energic flows, prana, aprana: active/passive, positive/negative.

You can't have positive without negative.

You don't devalue or avoid the negative, you balance it with the positive unless someone's into some kind of pseudo-spirituality just to make themselves feel better about the woes of life. They definitely won't find their self by denying the negative.

QED.

I've done a fair bit of that already. Things can get very dark... Confusing as one finds a lot positive within ones negative side. Just a question of sorting it out

Now, about your dark side.....(Crikey, can I borrow a torch?)

Agree there's nothing wrong with negative. Also I don't know if you've heard of Socionics but it actually states that some people will see 'what's missing' as opposed to what's there. For example, a person who is inclined to see what's missing is more focused on what's between the lines instead of what's obvious. Basic example but you get the point. Anyway, this line of thinking is called 'negative' because A) it can seem more negative.. and also because it's like when you take a photo and add a negative filter to it.. you see what wasn't there before.

So really what I'm getting at, you might just be one of those people like me who sees what's missing, and it's good because if no one saw what was missing then nothing would be improved :)

It's about people looking for a feel-good factor but what it really turns out to be is accept/don't accept. People don't accept negative so it becomes the truth that it exists, if they looked a little bit further they'd see something entirely different.

Wise words.

In my personal experience, I cannot DO without the negative. I can fool myself that I can, and even go ahead and "ignore" it, but that ends up in something missing.

Just as we need our parents. Just as we need something to "give". It's part.

I believe. It might be different for everyone though...not everyone develops with the same dynamics I suppose. But in my experience it is the case we need the negative, just as the negative needs us.

Feelings come before thoughts and words. If you have negative feelings, then you will have negative thoughts. I think most negative thoughts have their orgins in common depression, and its associated angers.
