Accumulated memories
of waters rise and fall
the journey through the embers
of flames that stood so tall
So much of mother nature
in my mind and memories stored
Yet when I look and remember
there is nothing there at all
Nothing hurting in me
in nature it now just is
when accumulated memories
create moments for us to live
The shadows of suns hiding
the clouds that poured on me
The wind of fathers passing
my brothers breath I see
In every moment in nature
in me lives on as one
My loved ones in my memory
the spirit call begun
where all those forgotten memories
are just a breath we breathe undone
Spirits wind within me
one with spirits wind I feel
no more will I hold the memories
of the old life that once did steal
Steal me from the moment
of living life from now
this moment is the moment
to live fully and be proud
On return to where it started
in words upon a page
I come back to bring the memories
into one in words today...
