Is this crystal beautiful or hideous ?

I was wondering what your opinion on this specimen was.

I can't tell if it's either really beautiful and fascinating, or if it's really ugly. I'm not sure if I love it or hate it. It's a type of agate.

It has an interesting pearly grainy white appearance on the outside. And it's a really nice-sized piece.

I kind of like it... a lot... it's all bubbly and freaky! Like when you see pictures of animals so ugly they become the cutest thing you have ever seen. I have just purchased a smokey elestial I fell in love with and it reminded me of a dead woodlouce thing. Yours is mahbe the freakiest crystal I have seen

Clover if that reminds you of bath foam I think you need to clean your bath haha. No I'm joking I know what you mean, reminds me of the sea foam where they pump all the rubbish out. Scummy type bubbles. Nature really is amazing I'd love to see that growing but wouldn't want in my house unless it was a small piece

hehe, well I was trying to be nice but since you just went all in (LOL) I meant to say it reminds me a bit when my kids have sat in the tub too long in their bubble bath foam

I agree smaller in size would probably be more appealing, it really is too big me thinks Gots a sea creature vibe to it, but hey,I can understand the OP being a collector, reminds me of my tarot collection, I also got unique not so appealing to the common eye material

I find your question peculiar. I have dozens of crystals/rocks/mineral specimens that wouldn't make it into any museums due to their appearance/size/color, etc. That's not to say that they're ugly or unattractive in any way, but that they might be construed as such by some observers.

Humans have developed a sense of sight which enables them to tell good fruit from bad fruit (food), attractive mates from those less so (bloodline), and so on (to visually discern "good" from "bad"). Unfortunately, along with this needed survival tactic, we also developed negative opinions. I can say much more about this, but that is not your question - I digress.
