Why fish in a dead sea? - I was asked: "What is the use of spending all one’s time on things that don’t last? The drama of life has for its moral push, the fact it is merely that, a drama. A conflict in what men deem to be real, illusions, dreams, or contrasting assumptive sentient interpretations of what is valuable to exert ones time on, thus what the value of life is." In replied: "What then is the need of playing in this game of unsubstantiated efforts, and spending time enlarging the spectrum of human uncertainty? Of fishing in a dead sea?"

Our entrance, from my comprehension, into this experience cannot be stepped into without defining the reasoning of "Why fish in a dead sea?" Relative interpretations interpreted are not the key to find what the question means, for by comment one can ask the originator what is the intent of the question being directly asked.. With that said, it must be stated, and here dissolved the following:

That which we see, hear, touch, taste, and smell concerning anything, even ourselves is fragmented concepts, opinions, ideas, theories, and assumptions based on what belongs to others people. Our consciousness is not our own because it is foundational within the DNA thought patterns we inherited when we entered into this parenthesis of time, space, distance, and matter. Nothing we have belongs to us, and therefore we cannot be real in stating: "I hope I can think well enough to make my own thoughts, and not need guidance from another." No disrespect here.

Now I've come to know no one came prove anything in this world because no one can feel, in exactness, the experience of another life, or step inside another persons world and explain precisely what pain, pleasure, joy, or sadness is to them. This is why I will not debate what another believes. I have not, cannot even by thought, begin to walk in another persons shoes, nor express their inner subjective feelings, or outer objective vision. No one can. Every individual has traveled and learned to walk, grasp, understand, comprehend, act, and react entirely within the domain of their direct living, which I , nor you, could ever intrude upon. No one can prove to any other living person they believe unconditionally in anything, not even the life they demonstrate and live. It is always self perception which individuals accept or rejects. No one can prove their perception to anyone.

Going beyond that, we all serve and worship the exact same thing intellectually.......... "AND THAT IS AN IDEA. There are no SUB TERRAINS to IDEA, just as there are no heavenly heights, THERE IS ONLY THE IDEA. Where we take that IDEA, in our bubble does not negate the truth that it is the IDEA which encircles the bubble of our living. And when we break through the bubble of our ignorance, we'll realize our limits were the ceiling of the bubble of ignorance we were brained-washed to believe. [emphasis mine].

The IDEA is the dream. Dreaming is the activity of the IDEA. The dreamer is the carrier of the IDEA, but if this is not known, then the dream becomes the bubble of illusion of ignorance we have enslaved ourselves within by thinking the bubble is all there is." - jufa

"Why fish in a dead sea?" is asking why waste your time when you know your time being used for a purpose is of no probative value to you.

May I ask what this has to do with the particular topic of Affirmation?

Interesting though some of what you report seems a little dubious..

It's word play. It may question the relationship between the signifier (word) and the signified (phenomenon / noumenon) but words are coined to signify ideas
for things we experience. We may all have different experiences of a phenomenon but recognise in common what's implied.
When I say "The cloudless mid-morning sky is blue" you recognise the object and its qualities even though your experience of it
will differ from mine.
Words (and other signifiers for that matter) come into common use. E.g. we use the word "prove" to mean a phenomenon
is observable by many independent observers; or on a repeatable basis a model of something or a theory predicts a result
with observable and defined accuracy.

However, all this depends on the philosophical view one has of "life" and what life is.
If you take the view of a solipsist the whole edifice on one hand crumbles!! and on the other
the world must be true because you're the only consciousness in existence.
