 Bluelove,
As you can see from the replys you have already given most people can relate to your post, as i can myself all you can do is to be there .nobody expects you to do anything else. caner is a scurge on the earth its evil it has no boundries.and affects young and old a like. just be there for when he wants to talk. get the mcmillan nurses involved.they can offer support as they are trained for it.and enjoy the time with your dad thats left. we all find our own inner strengths in times like this.im sure you will find yours.

I'm so sorry to hear that Bluelove.I lost my Mum to cancer in 1998 and my brother in 1999.All you can really do is try to be there for them,it will be very tough,there is no escaping that.However,I think you will find you have many inner strengths.Try to be brave,thinking of you.
