Manifesting a new job with affirmations?
I am working in a small island in a hotel as a housekeeper. This was planned as the job is live-in, so I can save a lot of money, I save time on commuting and I have no distractions to go out and spend my free time "wasted".
Here I can focus on studying IT for about 4-5 hours daily.
I would like to go back to London around December, January the latest.
When I am cleaning the rooms I have plenty of free time to be on my own so I thought I could create a mantra or affirmation I could repeat during my whole shift like a prayer or something for 6 months.
I am thinking of 'When I get back to London I can easily find an IT job' and the other one 'I learn everything easily'
Is this okay like this? Should I add something more?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Crwydryn, I offer you my suggestion, based on my knowledge about affirmations/manifestions:
I now have an enjoyable IT job.
The reason you want to put it in present tense ("now", "have") is because if you put it in future tense, the job will stay in the future. You want to add that its an enjoyable job, because you might get an IT job that you hate or don't enjoy.
Then let the Universe do the rest for you. Best wishes!!

You could add your deep and profound belief to anything you say...
the belief that you do create whatever you desire, focus on and
believe.
Never have any doubt, what-so-ever...and have patience that
it IS on it's way.
A story that could encourage:
After a healing at a Charismatic Church I 'knew' I was healed...though,
it took 5 days to completely be gone...that was in 2009...
and it's still gone...(the ball of my femur was like sand paper in my
hip socket...so painful for 3-4 years...but my belief and total trust
opened the pathway for the healing to happen.
Finding an ideal job? Piece o'cake!

So say one needs $50,000, you just believe you have it, even though the job or jobs you have won't even bring you that in one year? Things just move and work out?

That's great and all and one should be more positive with the energy and thoughts they send out. Might I suggest you create a vision board to reach your goal of getting a new job. While it's a nice affirmation to say "I can easily find an IT job," it's also very vague and can get you an IT job, and succeed at being your affirmation, but not give you the job you truly wish to have. Creating a vision board, and truly picturing and seeing the job you want, will help you create the vision you want. While still maintaining the positive affirmation of finding it easily.
Good luck and let us all know how you make out with it.

Hi there crwy :) Hope you're having a great day so far.
Thought I'd just share cos i was kinda doing the same thing. I agree with sojourner focus on the present "I have a great IT Job in London right now. I love my job. Learning comes so easy to me"
Visualize it as you go about your daily current job. And be joyous as u think about the IT job which you are "currently already employed' ;)
Focus on how you feel as you" work in your IT JOB" how great it feels, how lucky you were to have landed this job.. etc etc
Best of luck in your ENDEAVORS. :) :) altho you don't need the luck... You're already have that fabulous job you wanted... right? ;)

Yes this exactly! Do a vision board or "freedom board" ... when I did it I wrote cheques also to myself envisioning the salary I wanted, my job description, I did mock up of my name card and position... Basically whatever you can imagine that gets you excited :)

Thank you all :) Sounds good, I haven't thought of a vision board but it is a good idea!!
During these months I want to get into the mindset of believing in me that I am able to find a totally new job and I'm going to do everything I can to achieve it.
I know mindset is important, whenever I went to an interview like "This job is mine" and I truly believed it, I always got the job. This is going to be a big change that's why I need more preparation :)
