Zanier Gazania
An African yellow gazania
did wish for a climate much rainier
"For if I could bloom
without fear of doom
my colours could be even zanier!"

How do you see those flowers, see the beauty of them, be completely sensitive to them so that there is no residue, no memory of them, so that when you see them again an hour later you see a new flower~ Krishnamurti

Look at a flower. Have you ever looked at a flower?
Or have you looked at it, and given it a name, passed it by?
Or you say how beautiful it may, smell it.
All these are destractive actions, which prevent you from looking at that flower
Without doing any of those things, can one look at that thing
Neither enjoying it nor pushing it away?
When you no longer name, no longer thought functioning
Then, is there a space between you and the flower?
~ Krishnamurti ~

I hope this worked. I just signed up for flickr to see if I could download images to the forum. Since people are putting flowers on here that include insects, I thought I would include my grasshopper on lilly one. Hope it works. (Fingers crossed!)

P.S. It worked!!!! :) It's kind of a large photo, but it's my first photo on this forum ever so I'm feeling really good about myself. Yipee. Now I know how to download pics to SF.
