I always liked George Harrison's contributions to the beatles and thought of him as a creative equal to lennon/mccartney.
All things must pass is a great song the beatles rejected for consideration that George made famous after they broke up. Paul McCartney did a great version of that song in "the concert for George" (thats the concert they did to honor George Harrison a year after he died)

He was my favorite Beatle. I named my shaggy dog after him, too. Yesterday I happened to be listening to youtube my guitar gently weeps, with Tom Petty, Prince (awesome solo at the end), some others, and young son of Harrison, spitting image, too.

George was a wonderful musician, person, and very spiritual. He really put out some really great music. I love his song "Life Itself" and so much of his music. "Loves Comes To Everyone." He's written some really great songs.

George Harrison's music introduced me to Hinduism in my early teens. I owe him a debt of gratitude.
Many a night was spent listening to his Concert for Bangladesh and his Radha Krishna Temple Album.
My favourite album was Somewhere In England - I must go and listen to it again.
Up in heaven, there's a star shining called 'George Harrison'.
