Cats seeing invisible creatures?
I think I posted on this before, but my cat seems to see invisible things. Just a few minutes ago, she was watching something I couldn't see zip around the room, then looking at it because i guess it stopped she slowly blinked her eyes a few times (kitty "I like or love you").
I also feel like she watches over me. What do they see?

Goodness knows! But cats are reckoned to be quite 'psychic'.
I am looking after a cat, and visit her twice a day to spend time with her. Tonight, around dusk I went there, and she was outside, staring up at a tree, then staring in other places, like she had definitely seen something very alive and real. I looked carefully, but could see nothing/no-one.
Then we went in her room and I was putting food in her dish, and saw a Being flash by the entrance to her room. A low-to-the-ground kind of entity with quite a neutral feeling to it. Probably a creature, but not physical. I didn't see details and it was gone so quickly.
And she didn't seem disturbed in any way, just curious, alert yet contented.
I wonder if it could have been a Faerie Being....
It could also maybe have been one of her Guides or Spirit animal friends!

Oh my gosh, Yes! My cat does the same thing...She usually has a certain "look" in her eyes when she does this...Her eyes get really huge and her attention is laser focused as she follows the invisible "entity" (I don't know what to call it, LOL)...
The way she stares and follows what I can not see is different when she's staring/going after an insect....Usually she chatters like crazy and her behavior is more erratic, but when she sees the "Invisible's" she's very still/quiet and her movements are very slow and calculated....If that makes sense...

Tobi, Somnia your descriptions sound like what I've observed our cat doing. Hmmm.

i've got a cat that i'm pretty sure can sense spirit presences;
it's quite different than when she sees bugs and such.

I love it when kittens arch their backs and then bounce.

After watching my sisters cat chase invisible things over the years. I would not be the least bit surprised if it turned out that cats saw much further into the visible spectrum than humans.

Where mortals like dogs, the immortals like cats.
Cats have been held as aware of the supernatural not just in modern times but for countless centuries all around the world. Almost all of the ancient religions and societies had a cat god or a god associated with felines but not necessarily a dog god or a god with doggie friends.
It is just Christian influence that has clumped them with witches, or at least black cats. Which is interesting as in some regions [Europe actually] Christians will see white cats as evil / black cats as good versus the mainstream black cats are evil / white cats are good.
It is possible you have a domovoi as Slavs call it. Or something similar. It is a type of fae. Now to those thinking fae or fairies are just only like Tinkerbell sorry to disappoint but a vast majority of those creatures called fae are changelings and can assume many forms. Related but not exact creatures would be brownies to those of more British background. Modern people often call them "ghosts" which is sort of accurate as an angry domovoi will try to drive you out of its house.
