I really like Miss H's response. There's a lot of truth in it. :)

For me, our purpose in life is to Love the Creator Fully and Completely. To stop doing everything that *we* want to do and to serve the Creator Source fully and completely in everything we do, think, say, etc. To allow the Creator to do it's WILL and Purpose through us and to share that Love with others unconditionally. Nothing is done for our purpose or for anyone else for that matter. All that matters is the Creator's True Purpose in Life. Your inner heart will know this when it's ready to accept it's ultimate destiny in life.

Well, that's all I understand for now.

what do YOU think?

Abstractly speaking, it's to flourish as a human being.

Less abstractly, it's to flourish as the unique and irreplacable individual that you are.

It's up to you to gain self-knowledge so that you know what talents and callings you have so that you may grow as an individual and create your best future. You need to love and actualize your good. This means making the best use of who you are, to "be all that you can be" as the jingle goes.

This is such an individual thing that I can't tell you what values to pursue. That's something that you must do for yourself.

An honorable mention goes to psychoslice for writing: "There is no purpose to life, except life, anything else is to deny life."

All the messages from God? Viewed this way meaning for each individual?
As just for them?
Sorry, didn't understand exactly.

An individual could get a message from God that He is waiting for them
or that He loves them or they need to wash the car...in my message it actually was
"This is why you were created..." -(but the 'you' meant me and Mankind.)
It's funny how telepathy is - you get the entire meaning of something - even if a word or phrase is 'spoken' - you get the whole thing.

The message actually may have been just for me - but it was about me and mankind as a whole.

...That He, like, waits on the edge of His chair -for that heart that will open to Him and recognize Him.

And don't we all wait for that second our baby loves ''us'', thrills at seeing ''us'' ---or our partner in life - that moment that they return our love with real feeling - Oh, heaven.

Remember, when Paramahansa was asked by a student - "How do we know we are getting closer to God?"
With no hesitation he said, "When we feel."

God is nothing, if not feeling. So the purpose of life - has only to do with feeling - sure there is knowledge to be gained and enjoyment of life ---but it still boils down - as I see it - to feeling ----God feeling love, us feeling that love and giving it back to Him... to feel. Ha!

Maybe I got off track from your questions...

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Which part..kidding...

I know it's so simple, isn't it?
Here, you'll like this, Kiran:

God is Love. And Love must love. And to love there
must be a Beloved. But since God is Existence infinite
and eternal there is no one for Him to love but Himself.
And in order to love Himself He must imagine Himself
as the Beloved whom He as the Lover imagines He Loves.

Beloved and Lover implies separation. And separation
creates longing; and longing causes search. And the
wider and the more intense the search the greater the
separation and the more terrible the longing.

When longing is most intense separation is complete,
and the purpose of separation, which was that Love might
experience itself as Lover and Beloved, is fulfilled; and
union follows And when union is attained, the Lover knows
that he himself was all along the Beloved whom he loved
and desired union with; and that all the impossible situations
that he overcame were obstacles which he himself had
placed in the path to himself.

To attain union is so impossibly difficult because it is impossible
to become what you already are! Union is nothing other than
knowledge of oneself as the Only One.

So in other words, the purpose of life is to become self-aware?

The purpose of life is to forget the purpose and enjoy what's right in front of you.

So you don't believe there is a need for God or to seek him out in some way?
