Yes.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

What we need most in order to make progress is to be silent before this great God with our appetite and with our tongue, for the language he best hears is silent love.

There is nothing so much like God in all the universe as silence.

Yes, and that silence is also what we all know as peace, you got it, congrats. Why the silence?, Silence is where we can hear the whispers of God talking to us and encouraging us. That is with the silence of the mind. Once you've got that the intuition starts to open up. That's when it starts getting interesting and you learn to work in harmony with the universe and of course God ( or Goddess, whatever your choice). Practice makes perfect. Amen

Words are man made. God is beyond that is he not?

I have reached silence most of the time (> 22 hours a day).

You might want to ask how many have achieved a meditative state in daily life. So many only reach it by setting aside a special time for meditation where they don't do regular life activities.
