Yet another How did I meet my guide. xD
Well to belgian with, I met mine when I was four do to an incident with a nasty spirit.
But I didnt really started to talk to him tell about ohh 4 months ago? How I did it was really let the anchor come to me in its own little way. I asked him often and kept my mind open. I didnt know any thing about mediation or about this site when I was starting out. It took me about oh say a week? To know his name.
It happens differently with every one. Just keep up the good work and dont give up. And you should know too that anchors come in different forms. So because you quite your mind for a few moments doesnt mean you will get the anchor then or in that way. To tell you the truth I was laying on my bed and I basically said to him out load "Ok I know you exist. Iv even see you before here and in my dreams. I have a huge feeling you are my spirit guide and I would like to know what your name is so I wouldnt just know you as my spirit guide. So if you can, please tell me your name." I sat there for some time with my eyes closed. Then out of nowhere I hard his name and how to spell it but the words were very foggy and distorted. I didnt meditate, didnt light any candles, play any music or any thing special. I just closed my eyes and relaxed while I consecrate on him (well what I had a feeling what he looked like.)
But meditation is going to be different for all. Do what you think and feel is right. Play soft quite music. I have put the link on the bottom of the page that is a play list I made and use it when I meditate. Hope this helps ^^
Its going to be different for every one. So you can try other ways as well to try and meet them. Meditation is an exalent way to meet them, but expect it to come in its own way. Some examples are songs, possibly a book, bumper sticker, billboards, TV, ect. ^^ Just because they are in spirit doesnt mean they have no imagination or humor.
