This Rosicrucian stuff is all new to me and I’ve only listened to it for a few minutes at a time so I can’t say I’m “the full quid” on the vesica theory. I just interpreted it as life in general instead of a personal relationship with someone else. Although I did feel it was partly to do with the ego.

UnseekerS. Yes I’m the same as you ie I don’t want to belong to any religion or embrace any format. I just take things from different religions that make sense to me and include them in my own spiritual practice and create my own path instead of following someone else’s path.

Once I’ve listened to a few more videos and hopefully be able to form a better understanding of it, i will be able to make a more informed opinion.

I felt that the interviewer interrupted Gilbert and rambled on too much, which was annoying and prevented the flow of what Gilbert was trying to say.

Would love to hear what was said about vesica but hard to find the time to wade thru 2+ hours for something that might be an offhand remark. Because the vesica is a geometric construction there is endless speculation to a meaning for it. Perhaps we utilize it to prove what we want to prove ? Providing a visual to understand a concept. I would say that is the way I refer to it…..it might be a fools errand to pursue the ‘correct’ meaning…..

Molelearner. He talks about the Vesica towards the very end of video. Probably somewhere around the last quarter. But he also mentioned reading about it by googling Vesica.org. (I think).

The last quarter of the video I found to be the most interesting anyway.

I finally heard that. It is in line with my interpretation. Gilbert was describing it from the macrocosm level speaking of Ahriman and Lucifer forming the vesica picsis with Christ in the center bringing balance. I presented it on the microcosmic level in which 2 earthly beings form the vesica p with Christ in the center. Without application to our lives the teaching sacrifices some of its appeal. I must caution myself and be judicious of diving into this……the scope is so great that it can lead to distraction. I checked the website of the Vesica Institute and there is an endless amount of things offered for sale. That is a warning sign for me…..proceed with caution…….
