Hey Kam :)

I do believe wholeheartedly in the power of prayer, but I also believe that when answered, I have gotten what was necessary at the time, and on a few occasions.

When my husband passed on, I survived quite comfortably without working, and focused on being a full time mum , to my 4 girls for three years. They were young and all at school still. Fourth year in, still not working I went through a time where I was barely treading water trying to keep abreast of bills and so forth . I was keen to work but nothing really came my way for whatever reason, so I continued to struggle. I was too stubborn and proud to ask anyone for help , although if I had asked my family to help, they would've come forth with support. I really didn't know after a few months of much worry, how I was going to continue on.

One day, I sat with my head in my hands and prayed to God for some help. A heartfelt prayer and at my wits end.

3 days later, I went to collect the mail, I was dreading opening any mail received at this time, and one was from the Inland Revenue Department ( Tax people ). I actually inhaled thinking the worst to be honest, but bravely opened the letter and with one eye closed lol, peeked at the letter. Inside, was a cheque , made out to my husband for quite a substantial return, which by the way, I had never filed a return for . The thought had never crossed my mind to do so after he passed away :). I still don't know how this could've happened as usually when they owe you money, you never hear about it :). The amount received was more than enough to cover any overdue bills, and even had some left over :).

I was so relieved and grateful, and thanked The Lord straight away with a huge smiley face and kisses.

I must admit that Manifesting is my favorite part of the forum. It gets me excited to think that I am capable and have the power to create my desires and manifest my dreams into reality. It is specially exciting when you read other peoples stories of manifesting or attracting things into their lives. I think it will be very inspiring to find more stories of people who have manifested wonderful things...I've heard of a story here a year ago about a man who has become a millionaire and who married a young girl and lives very happy...I know that some people say its a bad thing to want to be financially free and desire happiness in every aspect of your life but i think its worth the try...if we do hold the power to manifest our reality than why not use it ? I mean...i don't really get excited about things anymore tbh so if people wanna perceive me as oblivious or childish or whatever its cool with me cuz im happy i found my "thing" that sparks my child imagination ...Ha i said it ...speaking of which i think the biggy in manifesting (from personal experience) is getting excited about what you want -which means being happy, that by picturing that thing its like placing an order with the universe and feeling excited while the order is on its way The best part is when you discover that LOA really works and it makes you wanna keep dreaming...I remember one night i was in that mood for manifesting and i just layed in bed starring at my ceiling and i couldnt think of anything that i really wanted...i guess i was fearing subconsciously what if i get this (in my case it was thinking about wanting a stable and a horse) I guess i was aware at some level that with that comes great responsibility or something idk but it wasn't that i felt like i had to dream small etc it was more like what do i ask for because i know this works... anywho im rambling here hehe ...But it feels so great to get excited guys its been a longggggg time man whew Anywho thank u for reading my post

I too believe in the power of prayer and have been "saved" from what seemed to be the end quite a few times. Had some very extraordinary things happen on several occasions...
